Alvin Hammond (– October 4, 2014) briefly served as the "47th President of the United States" during the White House Siege.

Hammond was the Vice President of the United States of America. When the White House was taken over by a paramilitary terrorist organization, Alvin and other government officials were taken aboard Air Force Two and flown out of Washington, D.C. He was later sworn in as President when the media assumed that President James Sawyer had been killed; this presumably changed Air Force Two's call sign to Air Force One in the process.

As the aircraft flew over Ohio, a missile launched by hacker Skip Tyler struck the plane's left wing, causing Air Force One to descend until it crashed in an unknown location. Everyone aboard was killed, including Hammond, resulting in Speaker of the House Eli Raphelson being sworn in as President.
